River Re Limited (River Re<\/strong>) is proposing to transfer its reinsurance and general insurance business to Riverstone Insurance (UK) Limited (RIUK<\/strong>) (the Proposed Transfer<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Proposed Transfer must be approved by the High Court of Justice of England and Wales before it can proceed. The Proposed Transfer will be implemented through an insurance business transfer under Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, which will be submitted for approval to the High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The court hearing to consider and, if thought fit, approve the Proposed Transfer, which was scheduled for 28 January 2026 at The Rolls Building, Fetter Lane, London, EC4A 1NL has now been re- scheduled and will take place on 10th<\/sup> February 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
